This little girl right here, runs my world. When I have a horrible day I just look at her and that smile makes my heart light up. Nothing can go wrong when I am holding her. Anyone who has ever said your life is over when you have a child young, is dead wrong. Yes, it puts a bend in the road and might delay some plans. But, it makes me fight even harder to make something of my life. Anything I do anymore is to better our lives. Everything I do is for her <3

Masked Woman

This watercolor is the first painting I have done since high school. I think I did pretty darn well with it :) I did it in two days and I hope to keep cranking out artwork to post and display. I might even redo this one to enter into the next two few art shows in the area.

WaterColor Castle

This painting was almost one put under the sink... I couldnt get the right angle for the rocks upfront, to make it look like it was leading you into the water. I also fought with the shading on the buildings for a bit until getting it to how it is now. I kept wanting to draw out the flowers in detail rather than letting your imagination tell you they were little yellow flowers. In the end, I like this painting and I believe it turned out perfectly fine.

Ceramic

This ceramic was a lot of fun to create. I actually found a picture of this pot in an old book and wanted to recreate it. The picture looked like each of the "dots" were actually carved out instead of painted. The best part of this ceramic has to be the inside, as it isnt smooth but folded over. (I of course cant remember what the name of doing so is called). I used white clay, so the only paint is the black and the clear coat gloss.

Water Color Flowers

This piece was a lot of fun for me. It was the first time I tried the water color and ink together. I am trying to do more ink pictures (Im greatly inspired by Alex Pardee) and although this piece is nothing similar to his works it is a beginning. I will hopefully have some more pieces with ink and other medias combined. Im sucked in with the bright colors and bold ink over top. The way it feels when you can just let the ink flow over the paper is a lot of fun. The simple gestures of flowers makes it look kind of abstract.
