About Me

My photo
I am a young mother and a daughter. I am a lover and a fighter. I am opinionated, optimistic, indecisive, and sarcastic. I have worked hard for what I have in my life. I am happy with everything that I have become. I wouldnt change a thing I now have or have done. I have no regrets.

Cathedral

This pencil drawing was all started by mistake. I finished my assigned work in basic art (my freshman year) and started flipping through a book that my teacher told me to look through. This picture caught my eye and I told him I wanted to draw it. (He kind of giggled and told me to go for it)
It took me about 10 1/2 months to get done, from start to finish. (The teacher was speechless) In my first art contest ever, my teacher entered this picture, and I won Grand Prize.

English BullDog, Pen&Ink

Horse

This is one of my favourite pictures I've recently done. I actually started and finished it in one night. I love horses and just pulled this out of my head. It is done in 2b and 6b charcoal pencil. This was my first charcoal pencil drawing and I'm very happy with how it came out.

Aiden's "Conviction" Album Cover

(Sorry this pic isn't the best) As you may know, this is the album cover for the newer Aiden CD, Conviction. I love this band. I love this cover. And I love the way this picture came out. It isn't a full out detailed picture, it's more like a sketch and thats because this was my first picture that I drew with shading. So it was more percise on shading instead of details of the background. Though this CD is nothing like Aiden's others it's still decent and I still love it <3

Freedom & Love

This picture is another kind of random piece that I sketched out on hot summer day. Butterflies are a symbol of many things. To me they symbolize freedom and strength. To think of it, a butterfly is a tiny piece of life, but even though they are soo little, they have a lot of life in them and with that is their inner strength. I kept this picture black and white because I wanted it to be more of a symbolic piece than a pretty show room piece. The bulls-eye has its own meaning. I put a butterfly in the middle of it to represent that not everything goes your way. Especially in life, but you have those days that go just right and exactly how you wanted. The hands at the bottom resemble the action of chasing after something. It's to look like the hands are grabbing at the butterflies that are fluttering all over the place. Their are stars connecting the hands to the butterfly trail and that is to mean that even though somethings are hard to do, you shouldn't ever give up, that some day something will go your way and work out. Then I wrote in Love and Ich Liebe Dich which is I Love You in German. That's put in there basically because you have to love to live. If you don't love anything, then you have nothing to live for. Love is never easy. You win some days but you loose many more, but that doesn't mean you should give up.

Lifetime

This is a collage of pictures and cutouts that I have put together to make one big picture. There isn't all that much to it, but to me it resembles Life. Life can be as difficult or as simple as we make it. The butterfly in the picture is positioned in the middle of the picture. I did this on purpose. Though a butterfly is so tiny, it has sooo much life wrapped into it. Colours are a major part of my life and are a major part of this picture. Every day life dies and life is born. Nobody can stop that. Its just the way it is. This picture to me is like a cycle. The colours, flowers and butterfly resembles the life and then the picture of the dull coloured trees is the end of it all.
