These shoes have gone everywhere with me. They are now no longer comfy and are falling apart. When its wet outside, my shoes hold more water than any shoe should. My family has gone out and bought me a new pair of shoes, but I just can't replace these things. They've been a part of me for 2 years now and if they could talk, they would have days or maybe weeks of stories to tell. About the time I fell off my skateboard and ripped my sholder open. The time I ran away and got lost in the woods for 10 hours. The memory of breaking my hand over my little brothers head when we were fighting. And of course the first time I skipped school. (Which goes along with the first time I got caught skipping school.) Ahhh. I love these shoes and to be honest I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of them. Maybe someday replace them, but never get rid of them. Hahaha =]

Your drawing skills are excellent!! I thought you were another 'older lady' as that seems to be the age of many of this group, 30's, 40's, 50's, etc, UNTIL I got to this entry and I went to check and see how old you are - surprise! A high school artist! Are you in art classes at school? I teach art at Andrews High School in Andrews, TX, so I know about 'out in the middle of nowhere'!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great site, with lots of wonderful artists who will demonstrate their techniques and share their ideas. I have met some very nice folks through this site. They inspired me to start my own blog, and now I blog(not as regularly as I'd like to!) and I have a blog for my art classes, and even a myspace, and now I have a Facebook and I've been know to 'twitter' too!!! I do love technology!
This is my blog addy:
